To help pay for NYU, Miller taught at a Manhattan public school where she saw first-hand how underprivileged students struggled to compete. That experience, coupled with years of working in Hollywood’s predominantly white male culture, led her to found the non-profit program Film2Future to build diversity in the entertainment industry by empowering underprivileged, at-risk Los Angeles youth to value and share their unique creative perspectives. Through our intensive filmmaking and life skills curriculum, F2F provides our diverse students with the necessary skills, tools and allies to begin college or an entry level entertainment position with confidence.
